Fireworks Directive 2007/23/EC on the placing on the market of pyrotechnic articles require fireworks product to meet essential requirement cited at annex 1. The requirement is drafted as “prEN15947 Pyrotechnics articles ?Fireworks Category 1, 2 and 3”. The draft standard is published form comment at June 2009. It includes requirements for fireworks that is belonging to Category 1, 2 and 3 consumer fireworks. This standard will supersede EN14035 series.
